Life Offering to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

“My dear Jesus,

before the Holy Trinity, Our Blessed Mother, and the whole Heavenly Court, united with your Most Precious Blood and Your Life Sacrifice on Calvary, I hereby offer my whole life for the intentions of your most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Together with my Life, I place at your disposal all my Holy Masses, all my Communions, all my good deeds, all my sacrifices, and all the sufferings of my entire life – for the Adoration and Supplication of the Holy Trinity, for unity in our Holy Mother Church, for the Holy Father and Priests, for good and holy Vocations, for release of all the Purgatorians, and for all souls until the end of the world.

Dear Jesus and Mary,   please accept my Life Offering, giving me the grace to persevere obediently until my death.  Amen.”

Here are 5 Promises which Our Lady gave to Sr. Elizabeth, OCD who received messages in the 1950’s. These messages are contained in the powerful Book, ‘The Victorious Queen of the World’

For those who make the Life Offering, sincerely, meaning every word:

  1. Their names will be written in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, inflamed by love.
  2. Their life offering, together with the infinite merits of Jesus, can save many souls from damnation. All souls who will live until the end of the world will benefit from their life offering.
  3. None of their family members will go to Hell, even if it seems otherwise, because they will receive, in the depth of their souls, the grace of sincere contrition before their soul departs from their bodies.
  4. On the Day they offer their lives, their loved ones suffering in Purgatory will be released.
  5. I will be with them at the Hour of their Death. They will not know Purgatory. I will carry their souls straight to the Presence of the Glorious Trinity, where they will live with Me in a special place created by God and will rejoice forever.

Marie-Julie Jahenny - Post-HC Prayer to Convert 1,000 Souls.

Our Lord gave Marie-Julie Jahenny, on Sept.3, 1925, a simple way to Convert 1,000 Sinners – each time we receive Holy Communion:

‘Tell them to Rest 5 Minutes on My Heart, which is throbbing with infinite love.

Think only of ME – with these simple words:

Thank You, my Beloved, You live in me, and I live in You.”

See the sweetness you will taste and how much Consolation you will give Me.

Ask of Me – in the 5th Minute – for the Conversion of 1,000 Sinners.

(How about – Releasing 1,000 Pugatorians?)

It will be a great joy for My Divine Father in Heaven, If you ask for this favor from Me.

I will be there inside you, as Infinite Goodness, the splendor of all majesties.

Only 5 minutes, thinking about ME — and at the 5th Minute — asking for the salvation of souls.

My Divine Heart will be overflowing with JOY at this request for graces, and I will surely grant it.’

Be Sincere in Prayer

Be Sincere – in all your prayers

Think of what you are saying – as you pray & contemplate the meaning – of what you are saying.

Lovingly bow you head – as you pray the name, “Jesus.”

Do not be concerned with the time taken, nor watch the clock while you are praying.

The Holy Spirit will adjust for the time that is required.

Be not Repetitive in your prayers – in asking for the same thing over and over.  God knows what you need – before you ask it of Him.  Our God created each one of us and knows us far better than we know ourselves.

He Loves for us to Ask Him – for what we need – so He can give us Consolations.

God Loves to Please us, His children, and He expects us to Love Him in Return.

Prayer from the Heart

Years ago, I began to read books about our Orthodox Catholic Spirituality that talked about something the Desert Fathers called Prayer of the Heart.

This was a type of prayer, stage of prayer, if you will, which the Fathers said is prayer in its truest sense, for which all other forms of prayer are preparatory. The person who had Prayer of the Heart prayed at all times, no matter what they were doing. Someone granted Prayer of the Heart, the books said, even prayed while they were sleeping, and some of the Fathers cited in support of this, a passage from the Song of Songs that said, “I sleep, but my heart is awake.

Coincidently I met someone who told me about an Elder from Cyprus who followed this way of prayer and about whom it was said, He walks with God every day.” All of these things made a deep impression on me. There was something in these teachings that spoke to me like nothing else ever had, and I sensed that this form of prayer was not just a pious practice, but a mystery that was close to the meaning of life itself.

Fr. Ephraim Peters referred to this Prayer of the Heart speaking of the Desert and early Fathers who said that in prayer, we must descend with our minds – into our hearts. How does one do this?

I read a number of books on this subject, but the ironic thing is that these books themselves say that you can’t learn this prayer from books aloneOnly experience can teach this. It’s like falling in love; you can’t learn that from a book. You have to experience it. And, these books also said, it is very much advised to question those who have more experience in these matters. So I started asking around. One of the people I asked was a Metropolitan in a Greek Church, quite renowned for his scholarship, named Metropolitan Hierotheos Vlachos.

I had an opportunity to ask about him about Prayer of the Heart. What is Prayer of the Heart?,  What does it mean – to descend with your mind  – into your heart?   Well,” he said in Greek – through an interpreter,  “This is a very big thing you are asking about.”  And then he gave me a few very brief comments on this subject, one of which I’d like to share with you:

Let me tell you what Prayer of the Heart is like,” the Metropolitan began,

Prayer of the heart, is like a mother who has a child on the verge of death… and she holds that child and prays to God and says, ‘have mercy on me… Lord, have mercy on me… have mercy on me!’”   This prayer,” said the Metropolitan, is very close to Prayer of the Heart.”

A saying like this—is like an icon, an image, not in paint, but in words. So let’s look into this image of the mother with the dying child. If her prayer is close to Prayer of the Heart, then what is her prayer like?

First of all, her prayer is undistracted. At that moment when she holds that dying child, is that woman thinking about a problem she has, or a bill she needs to pay? No!

This prayer is also fervent. It has much heart in it. She isn’t just reciting a prayer – her prayer is not an obligation, it is an urgent need.

Her prayer is also a prayer of longing. It longs for the Presence of God, for His Intervention, His Manifestation.

It is also continuous.  During the time that she’s praying you can hear her prayer continuously bubbling up from within. She doesn’t stop even for a moment. The prayer of the woman with the dying child is also a prayer that unifies her whole being in the Presence of God.

You can see in your mind’s eye that her posture, her voice, her face reflects her prayer. All of her emotions are centered around this prayer. She has no other thought than this plea to God. She prays with her whole heart, her whole soul, her whole mind, and with all her strength

But there’s a great deal more in this image.

You’ll notice, the Metropolitan did not say – that prayer of the heart is like the joy at the birth of a child; nor did he say that it’s like the joy a mother feels when her sick child is restored to health. And, I believe, he might have made those analogies, but he doesn’t. He says that Prayer of the Heart is like a mother praying for her dying child. To illustrate the character of this prayer, he chooses one of the most tragic events in human life – the loss of a child.

I’m sure some of you have experienced this loss. Maybe you have prayed this prayer.  And dealing with losing someone who is that close – is another thing you can’t learn from a book. When my Father died, I felt something that I would not admit at the time, but is fairly common. Among the feelings of loss and grief, I felt reliefNot only relief that his suffering was over….not only relief that at least my family was now certain of the outcome…but there was something else: a relief – a short release – from my ordinary self.

All of the things that I thought were so important, were shown to be meaningless!

The enormity of such a loss crowded everything else out and for a brief window of time, I was allowed to see the distinction between what is transitory and what is eternal. And there was, through the grief and loss and shock, a brief taste of liberation.

There’s something about suffering and loss that stirs us from our waking sleep, where we dream the dream of our private concerns and distractions and hopes and desires that make up what we call our ordinary lives.’

There is something about difficult times – that strips away everything that’s false — and whatever is hidden in the heart is revealed.

Recently I went through a difficult time, so I went to talk to Fr. Antony Hughes about it, and after we had talked for a short while, he said,         I have to say, you’re more real now than I’ve seen you in a while.” And he was right, because I had been stripped of at least some of my pretensions and pride.

My usual mask that says, “I’m fine, and everything’s great…so just leave me alone”…That mask didn’t fit me any longer.

The effect of this stripping away is described in a passage from the 19th Century Russian spiritual father, the Elder Leonid when he wrote,If you were as simple in heart as the Apostles were, you would not hide your human faults, would not appear pious, and would live without hypocrisy.

This way…is the shortest way to salvation – and attracts Grace…unless you become as little children, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

So what does this have to do with our St. Gregory Palamas Mass of today? A great deal, I think, because St. Gregory taught that the whole ascetical Tradition of the Catholic Church is about stripping off the layers of falsehood to reveal the true self that lies buried underneath – and this true self IS the Human Person as it was created by God.

Is this Orthodox Catholic Faith of ours about Self-Sacrificeor is it, like some New Age and modern psychological teachings, about self-realization? Reading St. Gregory suggests to me that it’s both.  We sacrifice the old man to become the new man. As Apostle St. Paul says, We crucify the old self with its Passions, and we are transformed into the radiant beauty of the Transfigured and Deified Self.”

But this path is a much different thing – much longer and more difficult – than what I imagined when I was just reading books, those many years ago.

Finding the way to the Heart

‘The soul that has known the Lord – wants to see Him within her – at all times – for the Lord enters the soul in quietness and gives her peace, and bears silent witness to Salvation” says St. Silouan of Athos

“At the edge of your Heart, the Lord is standing with a tall candle that burns without smoking or melting.  The Lord is standing and waiting at your invitation, to bring the candle into your heart to enlighten it, to burn up all the fear in your heart, all its selfish passions and all its ugly desires, and to drive out of your heart all the smoke and foul stench.

At the edge of your Mind, the Lord is standing by you with His Holy Wisdom and with His Holy Word, ready, at your invitation, to enter into it and drive out all its foolish thoughts, all its filthy fancies, and all its mistaken notions, and to erase from your mind all non-existent images – the Lord is standing by you – waiting to introduce His reason, His seals, and His words.”  –St. Nikolai Velimirovich in Prayers by the Lake, V.59.

Athonite Orthodox Catholic monasteries are strange places.

All of it: the Monk’s clothing, praying in the middle of the night, Obedience, the absence of small talk, no eye contact, silence and their attitude towards daily life, conflict and suffering; it all shocks us, reminding us that visiting a monastery is to experience another world.

Where did it all start?

How can it all be so remarkably similar – regardless of time and place? If one has had the opportunity to visit monasteries in Mt. Athos, Greece, or Serbia, or Romania, even in the USA, one can clearly see that the way of life is the same.

I recently finished reading the 1st Volume of the Evergetinos, and I am stunned – to realize that the way of life of the Greek monks in the Monastery of St. Anthony in Florence, Arizona, for example, is a detailed and faithful recapitulation of the experience of the Desert Fathers

It is wonderful to recognize, while reading this ancient literature, that I know exactly what they are talking about, because I have seen it all enacted, in humility and without fanfare, in our monasteries today.

Speaking with Geronda Ephraim or Abbott Paisios of St. Anthony’s monastery is the same as if I was listening to Abba Pambo, or St. Synkletike, St. Pachomios or St. Anthony of the Desert, as preserved for us in the Evergetinos.

How these elders deal with the sin in the lives of their apprentice monks, disobedience, anger, lust, envy, pride, etc., is not the expression of arbitrary power play, or willfulness of the elders, but the affirmation and reenacting of a proven way of life.

The renunciation of the world is madness for those without eyes to see.

But the Spirit of Elijah and the Desert Fathers continues on in time.

As Fr. Zacharias Zacharou of Essex tells us in his talks, in the life of a monk, repetition is a most creative act. Again and again we behold the transforming power of a way of life oriented towards God, lived in the communion of love with their brethren.

There are no words to describe the serene, humble and loving gaze of a holy monk.  I tremble as I stand before a holy priest holding in his hands the chalice with the Body and Blood of Christ, and when he lifts up his eyes to bless me and nourish me with the Bread that comes down from Heaven – it is our Lord Jesus Christ Himself – who loves me through his eyes.

The Desert Fathers knew our broken humanity very well.

They also know how the evil one is able to suggest to us solutions to our problems that could even sound reasonable and wise, but are death-dealing. I cite the following story from St. Ephraim the Syrian (easily applicable to a lay person):

“When the evil one wants to snatch yet another brother away from the monastery, he will put different thoughts in his mind, saying to him, ‘Look, your disorderly conduct is well known here, and all the brothers are aware of your negligence; this is why you cannot live any longer in this place. For even if you yearn for virtue, the men with whom you live are the very ones who know what kind of a person you have been from the beginning. Go somewhere else, where people do not know you, and make a new start in the spiritual life, and in this way you will be pleasing to God and men.’

‘Now listen, brother: Are you going to leave your Spiritual Father and Brothers, in whose presence you made your monastic promises to God, because of derision on the part of men? You should call to mind the words of the Prophet: My soul hath expected reproach and misery, …and because for Thy sake I have borne reproach, shame hath covered My face,” from Ps 68 from the Septuagint.
When you reflect on these words of the Prophet King David, you will endure dishonor and contempt with joy!

For the Lord says in the Beatitudes: ‘Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake.’ The derision in which a man withstands for the Lord’s sake contributes greatly to the cleansing of that man’s sins.

Furthermore, do what is good, and you will see that the Lord will unfailingly turn the attitude of your brothers toward you to the good. Remain firm in that place where the enemy attacks you and stand up straight to fight him! In this way, you will receive great glory from our Lord Jesus Christ.”

In other words, when a soiled garment is washed, it will no longer be set aside with the dirty ones; if anyone, out of envy or evil jealousy, calls what is clean dirty, he will have no credence, for the garment will contradict him. As a well-known and beautiful verse says, ‘Thou shall wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.’

Also from St. Ephraim, the Syrian we hear these words: “O monk, do not say, ‘Here there is affliction, but elsewhere there will be respite and freedom from care.’ Tell me, who it is that wars against us? Is it not our enemy, the Devil? Listen, then, to what is said in the Book of Job: ‘And the Lord said to the Devil, “Whence comest thou?” And the Devil said before the Lord. ‘I am come from going through the world, and walking about the whole earth.’

Know then, Monk, that the world is greater than you – and that wherever you go, there is no place under the sky where our common enemy has not already set foot. Remain in the place to which you were called and resist the Devil – thereby he will flee from you; draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”  [Here you are in the Desert in the deepest of Solitude: Await and Persevere!]

Evergetinos, V1. Deserts can convey the same message as the one in which the early Christian Fathers lived – powerful symbols of our inner space, where we yearn for God.”  The Word states: “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, there are few who find it.”

Further, “Bear in mind that for cleansing your heart from sins you will obtain an infinite reward – you will see God, your most gracious Creator, your Providence. The work of cleansing the heart is difficult, because it is connected to great privations & afflictions; therefore, the reward is equally great. ‘Blessed are the Pure in Heart, for they shall SEE God.’

                   Three Very Beautiful Prayers

These are very helpful to a dying person, and which should be prayed often – as an act of mercy.

There once was a Pope in Rome who was surrounded by his many sins. The Lord God struck him with a fatal illness. When he saw that he was dying he summoned Cardinals, Bishops and learned persons and said to them:

“My dear friends! What comfort can you give me now that I must die, and when I deserve eternal damnation for my sins?” No one answered him. One of them, a pious curate named John, finally said: “Holy Father, why do you doubt the Mercy of God?” The Pope replied: “What comfort can you give me now that I must die in fear that I’ll be damned for my sins?”

John replied: “I’ll read 3 beautiful prayers over you; I hope you’ll be comforted and obtain Mercy from God.”   The Pope was unable to say more.

All those present knelt and said an Our Father, then these 3 prayers:

Prayer 1.
Lord Jesus Christ! Thou Son of God and Son of the Virgin Mary, both God and Man: Thou Who in Fear Sweated Blood for Us All on the Mount of Olives, submitting Thy Will completely to Thy Heavenly Father in order to bring Peace, and to offer Thy Most Holy Death to God Thy Heavenly Father for the salvation of this dying person (NAME). If by his Sins he merits Eternal Damnation, then may it be Deflected From HimGrant this, O Eternal Father through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Dear Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in union with The Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.

Prayer 2.
Lord Jesus Christ! Thou Son of God and Son of the Virgin Mary, both God and Man: Thou Who Meekly Died on the Trunk of the Cross for Us All on Calvary, submitting Thy Will completely to Thy Heavenly Father in order to bring Peace, and to offer Thy most Holy Death to God Thy Heavenly Father in order to free this dying person (NAME).  Hide from him what he has earned with his sins!  Grant this, O Eternal Father through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Dear Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in union with the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.

Prayer 3.
Lord Jesus Christ! Thou Son of God and Son of the Virgin Mary, both God and Man: Thou Who remained Silent, but Speak Through the Mouths of the Prophets: I, God Almighty, have drawn Thee to Me through Eternal Love, which love drew Thee from Heaven into the body of the Holy Virgin; which love drew Thee from the body of the Holy Virgin into the valley of this needful world; which Love kept Thee 33 years in this world.

As a sign of Great Love, Thou hast taken Thy Cup of Suffering to drink; as a sign of great love, Thou hast consented to be a Prisoner and to be led from one Judge to another. And as a sign of great love, Thou hast consented to be Condemned to Death, to Suffer, Die, to be Buried and truly Rise again, You, Who appeared to Thy Holy Mother and all the Holy Apostles.  As a sign of great love, Thou hast Ascended, under Thy own strength and power, to sit at the right hand of God Thy Heavenly Father, and Thou has sent Thy Holy Spirit into the heart of Thy Apostles and all who hope and believe in Thee.

Through Thy sign of Eternal love, Open Heaven Today, the realm of Thy Heavenly Father, to take this dying person (NAME), Sinless, so that he may reign with Thee now and forever.  Grant this, O Eternal Father, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Dear Son, who liveth and reigneth with Thee in union with the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.

 …………………………….

Meanwhile, the Pope died.  The curate persevered to the 3rd hour, then the Pope appeared to him in body – to comfort him; his countenance was as brilliant as the sun, his clothes as white as snow, and he said:

“My dear brother!

Whereas I was supposed to be a Child of Damnation, I’ve become a Child of Happiness!  As you recited the 1st Prayer many of my sins fell from me, as if rain from Heaven, and as you recited the 2nd Prayer I was purified, as a goldsmith purifies gold in a hot fire! I was still further purified as you recited the 3rd Prayer.

Then I saw Heaven open – and the Lord Jesus – standing on the Right Hand of God the Father – Who said to me:     “Come, All thy sins are forgiven thee, you’ll be and remain in the realm of My Father forever. Amen!”   “With these words, my Soul separated from my body and the Angels of God led it to Eternal Joy.”

As the Curate John heard this he said: “O Holy Father! I can’t tell this to anyone, for they won’t believe me.”

Then the Pope said: “Truly I tell thee, the Angel of God stands with me, and has written the 3 Prayers in letters of gold for the consolation of All sinners.

If a person had committed all the sins in the world, but that these 3 Prayers be read over him at his end, all his sins will be forgiven him, even though his soul was to suffer until the Last Judgment, it will be redeemed. The person who hears them read will not die an unhappy death – also in whose house they will be read.

Therefore, take these prayers and carry them into St. Peter’s Basilica and lay them in the Chapel named for the Assumption of Mary, for certain consolation.

The person near death, who Reads them, or Hears them read, gains 400 years indulgence for the days he was supposed to suffer in Purgatory because of his guilt.  He who reads this prayer, or hears it read, the hour of his death shall be revealed to him. Amen!”

The pope then vanished.

Collect Prayer

Collect Prayer from Latin Missal:  “Almighty, Eternal God, You Who in the abundance of Your love always grant more than Your humble petitioners deserve, and even more than they desire,

pour forth Your Mercy upon us – that You may forgive – whatever our conscience dreads, and in addition – give what our prayer does not venture to ask.”

                     THE TRISAGION AND OTHER PRAYERS

Forward

The exquisitely beautiful Trisagion Prayers, intoned by the 9 choirs of Holy Angels – Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Powers, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels and Angels – give “endless praise” to the Holy Trinity in Heaven.

Throughout man’s history these prayers were transmitted by the Persons of the Holy Trinity to various saintly people such as Isaiah, St. John the Apostle and Evangelist, St. Anthony Mary Claret, and most reverently in our times to Rev. Mother Concepcion Zuniga Lopez, Abbess and Foundress of the Franciscan Minims of Perpetual Help of Mary – of the Order of Atonement.  We are indebted to this exemplary religious for these extraordinary prayers now offered for your personal use.

When these prayers were given to St. Anthony Mary Claret – who lived from 1807 to 1870, he was informed by the Holy Spirit, the 3rd Person of the Holy Trinity, that many chastisements due to mankind because of its fallen nature, would be considerably mitigated for those persons who would pray the Trisagion Prayers entirely. This should be done at least once a week.

The evils from which these persons would be delivered are enumerated on page 12.

The Trisagion Prayers are recorded on pages 1 to 17 and are followed by other prayers, some of which also were originated in Heaven and were greatly loved by Almighty God and Blessed Virgin Mary, thus comprising a group of splendid prayers for daily use.

Since our world is sinking very rapidly in its attitudes toward Almighty God, so as to almost obliterate His being, this laxity thus causing diminishing morals and lessened reverence for holy persons and things – so that sin and vice prevail everywhere, mankind falls deeper and deeper into a dark pit of its own making, thereby meriting many punishments and chastisements from God for its errant ways. Unlike the angels, man is not inclined to give Almighty God “endless praise.” He spends little time in prayer and his slight offering is usually given amid countless distractions.

A Great Warning has been promised to descend on mankind very soon to be followed by A Great Miracle, seen – but not felt, and a very Great Chastisement – if man does not convert and change his errant ways. These prayers will help as a preparation for these events to come.

It would be wise, for those who fully comprehend the need, begin to make a suitable reparation to the Most Holy Trinity, so greatly maligned and offended in these days of great spiritual darkness.   What more effective way can be found to please the Holy Trinity that to use the prayers of the Angels and the other prayers so greatly esteemed and desired by Heaven?

Remember that prayer is essential to life.

Prayers

“…Let the Trisagion, the Rosary, the Hymn to the Heavenly Father and the Hymn to the Holy Ghost be intoned everywhere.  And for Me, the Son, let them say the Pater Noster, well recited, complete and without mutilation, as I taught it to My Disciples. Let the Holy Mass be in Latin; and in the manner that the Council of Trent defined forever.

And for the Virgin Mother: the Angelus, the Magnificat, the Hail Holy Queen and the Hail Mary. These prayers are indispensable to all My redeemed; and let them keep Lent devoutly. Let the continually use the ejaculation: ‘Jesus, Mary and Joseph; Hail Mary, Most Pure,’ because the demons flee just on hearing it.”

Words of Our Lord to the Portavoz October 29, 1974

In a letter to Mother Maria Antonia de San Pedro, Saint Anthony Mary Claret writes, “God, our Lord, has made known to me in a very clear way the necessity that we have to pray and to promote the devotion of the Trisagion, the Most Holy Rosary and devotion of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, frequently visiting Him and receiving Him in Most Holy Communion.”

In particular the Trisagion is as Saint Anthony Mary Claret says, “an impenetrable shield against all the evils that God has sent on earth as a chastisement for our sins.”

THE TRISAGION

Invocation:

  1. Oh Lord, open my lips.
    R. And my tongue shall announce Thy praise.
  2. Oh God, come to my assistance.
    R. Oh Lord, make haste to help me.
  3. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
    R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Preparatory Act:

Oh, Most Merciful God, Unity in Essence and Trinity in Persons, behold here one of Thy humble creatures, who recognizes within itself the venerable image of Thy Most Holy Trinity. I confess that I have not fulfilled my obligations with the honor to which this divine likeness obliges me. I have sinned, my God, but I never denied Thy Trinity.

Rather, I have firmly believed in the Father, in the Son, and in the Holy Ghost: that the Father has no beginning; that the Son is begotten of the Father, with Whom He is Consubstantial; and that the Holy Ghost is the object of the reciprocal love of the Father and Son, from Whom He proceeds and with Whom He is Consubstantial; and the Father is not superior to the Son, nor are they superior to the Holy Ghost.

I adore the Father as God, the Son as God, and the Holy Ghost as God; nevertheless, in the Three I believe and adore only a Single God. I do not understand this mystery, Oh Lord, by my understanding is fascinated by virtue of Faith, for Thy greater glory and my merit.

I offer these most profound sentiments of piety, of reverence and of love, as most pleasing supplications of Thy sanctity, so that through them Thou might forgive so many offences committed by me against Thy uncreated majesty.

Oh, Most Blessed Trinity! The miserable trinity of my facilities sighs for Thee: my memory, tainted by weakness; my understanding, infected by ignorance; my will, perverted by the inclination to evil.

Heal me, sanctify me, and give me help – so I may never lack the intentions with which Thou hast deigned to inspire me; for I promise to dedicate myself, from now on, to upholding the dignity of the practices that correspond to Thy own character, with which Thou hast sealed me; to appreciate it as fully as I possibly can with Thy grace; and to avail myself of Thy grace to preserve in devotion and in the mystery of Thy Most August Trinity, in Whom I hope to find mercy, compassion and benevolence forever.  Amen.

Hymn:

Fire that burns and never dies,
Perpetual light, Thy Unity;
Fill our minds, our hearts and souls
With Thy love, Oh Trinity.

Take us to our Heavenly Home,
Night and day we pray to Thee.
Take us there to sing Thy praise
With sacred hymns eternally.

To the Father – to the Son,
To the Holy Ghost – all One.
Let glory ever be given Thee,
Now – and in Eternity.  Amen.

  1. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts.
    R. Holy God, Holy Strong One, Holy Immortal One; have mercy on us.

With the Angels:

  1. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts.
    R. Holy God, Holy Strong One, Holy Immortal One; have mercy on us.

Prayer to God the Holy Ghost:

Beloved God the Holy Ghost, Divine Love, Who with the Eternal Father and the Only-begotten Son are a single God, One Essence in Three Persons, I bless Thee, I adore Thee, I honor Thee with the Three Angelic Hierarchies and with the Three Choirs of the Third Hierarchy: PRINCIPALITIES, ARCHANGELS and ANGELS, I acclaim Thee Holy, Holy, Holy, Divine Love and most pleasing union of the Eternal Father and the Son, proceeding in Love from both, Lord of Heaven and Earth, worthy of praise forever and ever. Amen.

Antiphon:

And there are three who give testimony in Heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost.             And these three are one.

  1. Let us bless the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
    R. Let us praise God and extol Him forever and ever.

Let us pray:

Oh, Most High and incomprehensible God Who, within the sanctuary of Thy nature, where no one enters, hast enclosed the mystery of Thy Most Holy Trinity, Whose veil no one can rend to see fully; rather, all creatures must adore profoundly from without:

Deign to accept our humble supplications that we reverently present at the foot of the throne of Thy ineffable majesty, through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who with Thee – lives and reigns in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ONE God, world without end. Amen.

Joys to the Triune God:

To our God 3 times Holy, Cherubim & Seraphim, Angels chant in endless hymn,

singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.

  1. Oh Trinity Divine.
    One in Essence most supreme,
Font from where all good things stream
    Solely through Thy generosity;
    And Thy tender clemency
Ends our weeping and our woe. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.
  2. Oh Deity most pleasing,
    With humility we praise Thee,
And for Thy pardon we beg Thee,
For our evil and our blindness
    Through Thy graciousness,
In this hymn of mysteries. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.

  1. The Trisagion that Isaiah wrote,

Consumed with burning zeal,
When he heard from Heaven voices peal
 As angelic hierarchies
 Sang their golden melodies
Praising God harmoniously.  Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.

  1. The Apostle St. John
    Heard mystic creatures singing,
    Joyfully their voices ringing
    To a rhythm unceasing
    And with voices untiring,
Without toil, weakness or pain. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.
  2. By its grace, the Trisagion,
With the strength of God’s Divine arm,
Shields us mightily from all harm,
From the lighting and from all plague,
And from sudden death and ‘quake,
Freeing us from every calamity. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.
  3. Of Justice Divine
    The emblem most glorious
    With which Christians victorious
    Overcome all evil infernal
And the malice of the devil,
Who, in awe and fright, quickly flees. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.
  4. Like the Rainbow in the sky
    Over land and over sea,
God’s pledge to set us free
    Manifest for all to see;
It protects us to such a degree.
By it’s grace divine and singular. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.
  5. Holy God, strong and immortal,
    In Thy patronage I confide
So that when in Heaven I abide,
I will sing with all Thy choirs
This great hymn that so much inspires
Glory, honor and praise to Thee. Angels chant in endless hymn, singing: Holy, Holy, Holy.

Antiphon:

Blessed be the Most Holy Trinity and undivided Unity of God. We confess this Most August Mystery of Thy Being with as much reverence as we can, because Thou dost not cease to exercise Thy mercy with us.

  1. Blessed art Thou, Oh Lord, in the vault of heaven.
    R. And the earth is filled with Thy glory.

Let us pray:

Almighty and Eternal God, Who has granted to Thy servants the grace of knowing, through the confession of the true faith, the glory of the Eternal Trinity of Thy persons, and of adoring in the power of its Majesty, the Unity of Thy incomprehensible nature: we implore Thee, that by our fidelity in that same faith we may be freed from all types of adversities. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with Thee in the Unity of the Holy Ghost, ONE God, world without end. Amen.

Supplicatory Eulogies to the Blessed Trinity that may be said after the Trisagion:

Heavenly Father, eternal God,                   have mercy on us.
 Divine Word, immense God,
 Holy Ghost, infinite God,

Creator, sustainer and governor of all created things,
Our Life, in Whom, from Whom and for Whom we live,
Divine Life and one of three persons,

Eminent path that leads to Paradise, have mercy on us.
Strongest tower of defense against the infernal enemy, have mercy on us.
Sacred triple-stranded cord with and indissoluble knot, have mercy on us.

From every evil of body and soul, deliver us, Most Holy Trinity.
From every sin and occasion of sin,
From Thy anger and wrath,
From sudden and unforeseen death,
From the snares and advances of the devil,
From the spirit of uncleanness and its suggestions,

From the concupiscence of the flesh, deliver us, Most Holy Trinity.
From all anger, hatred and ill will,
From plagues, pestilence, hunger and war,
From tempests at sea or on land,
From enemies of the Catholic faith,
From eternal death,

By Thy Unity in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, deliver us, Most Holy Trinity.
By the equality in essence of Thy Persons,
By the sublimity of the mystery of Thy Trinity,
By the ineffable Name of Thy Trinity,

By the wondrousness of Thy One and Triune Name, deliver us, Most Holy Trinity.
By the creative power shared by all Thy Trinity, with which Thou gives being + preserves everything that is,
By the admirable work of the Incarnation of Christ Our Lord in the womb of His ever-virgin Mother,
By the manifestation of Thy Trinity in Unity, that was made on Thy forming man to Thine image and likeness,

By the grace through which, in Baptism, Thou renews Thine image, deliver us, Most Holy Trinity.
By the revelation of Thy Trinity to Abraham, on Thy visit to his house,
By the many souls that please Thee by their devotion to Thy Most Holy Trinity,

By the great love with which Thou freest from evil and places where there are souls devoted to Thy most amiable Trinity,
By the divine power that lets those devoted to Thy Most Holy Trinity recognize the assaults of the demon against them,

Sinners that we are, we beg Thee, hear us.

That we succeed in resisting the devil with the weapon of devotion to Thy Most Holy Trinity,

That we adorn ourselves more each day with the tint of Thy Grace, of Thy image in our souls,

That all might attain the great joys that are assured to those devoted to Thy ineffable Trinity,

That Thou deign to hear us with compassion, we beg Thee, hear us.

That, on our confessing the mystery of Thy Trinity, the errors of hell might be destroyed,

That the souls in Purgatory may enjoy great consolation by virtue of the mystery of Thy Trinity,

  1. Most Holy Trinity, hear our prayers
    R. And let our cry come unto Thee.

Prayer:

Divine Lord, One and Triune, give us Thy grace, Thy charity and the communication of Thyself continually so that in time and in eternity we may love Thee and glorify Thee, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost in one Deity, or in the Divine Trinity, or Unity of Trinity, or three distinct persons in one single God; may Ye be glorified for all eternity. Amen.

Hymn of Praise:

Let us praise and extol the Sovereign beloved, incomprehensible unity and ineffable Trinity.
The Divine and Supreme Majesty of Majesties, one in the three persons, and all equal.
The First – who is the Supreme God and Eternal Father, not begotten of anyone, but rather the cause of His own being.
The Son – True God, also man in our flesh, Word, Whom the Father begot in knowledge from all eternity.
Divine Spirit, also God and mild love, Whom the Father and the Son, on understanding each other produce solely by loving each other.
All the Trinity, Whose faith and constant truth our heart is dedicated to confess, even with its blood.
To Whom, until the end of time and through everlasting eternity, Thy creatures sing of Thy glory, praise and honor.

Pray to the Most Exalted Mystery of the BLESSED TRINITY:

 To Thee, Sublime Trinity,
To Thee, My God, One and Three,
 I commend my understanding,
 My memory and my will;

 To Thee, O Sacred Deity,
 Wonders of wonders,
 I consecrate my thoughts,
My works, my words, my actions,
 All my respirations,
 My affections and my emotions.

Antiphon used to pray for Peace:

Give peace, Oh Lord, in these days, for there is no one who fights for us but Thee, our God.

  1. Let peace be in Thy Strength.
    R. And abundance in Thy towers.

Prayer:

Oh, God, from whom comes holy desires, right counsel and just works, grant to Thy servants the peace that the world cannot give; so our hearts may be dedicated to the observance of Thy commandments; banish the fear of all enemies and, by Thy protection, let us have tranquility in these days. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, One God, world without end. Amen.

HYMN TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER

Music and words by Mary of the Immaculate, Inspiration of Thursday, July 6, 1972.

CHORUS:      We implore Thee, Sweet Hope, Father Eternal
Send us quickly, Thy Son, Truth Supernal.
May our Vine, Thine own Fruit, Sempiternal,
To our pleadings, dear Father, incline.

At Thy feet, O True God, humbly kneeling,
   With Thy Victim Divine interceding;
We unite in this Triduum our pleasing,
   For ungrateful mankind so unheeding.

(Repeat CHORUS)

Please accept, loving Father, we implore Thee,
   Loving praises with which we adore;
Through the Virgin, our Mother benign,
   Favored by Her Creator Divine.

(Repeat CHORUS)

Fervent praises we offer to Thee above,
For ineffable showers of Thy Love.
Since Thy Infinite Love for us has no bounds,
In the abyss, “Asmodeus” it confounds.

(Repeat CHORUS)

PRAYER TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER
(To be said when possible with the arms in the form of a cross)

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, send Jesus to us quickly!  Send Him soon, we pray Thee.  With Faith, with Love, with an ardent desire, we humbly beseech Thee to grant us this favor.  Let Jesus come quickly, we implore Thee, that He may rescue so many sheep that are going astray on the way of perdition.  Oh, Heavenly Father, we, Thy poor children here on earth, implore Thee!  We supplicate Thee!

We confidently hope to obtain this favor from Thee.  Amen.

HYMN TO THE HOLY GHOST

Come, Oh Holy Ghost, come!
From Your bright and blissful Home
Rays of healing light impart.

Come, Father of the poor,
Source of gifts that will endure
Light of every human heart.

You of all consolers best,
Of the soul most kindly Guest,
Quickening courage do bestow.

In hard labor You are rest,
In the heat You refresh best,
And solace give in our woe.

Oh most blessed Light divine,
Let Your radiance in us shine,
And our inmost being fill.

Nothing good by man is thought,
Nothing right by him is wrought,
When He spurs Your gracious Will.

Cleanse our souls from sinful stain,
Lave our dryness with Your rain,
Heal our wounds and mend our way.

Bend the stubborn heart and will,
Melt the frozen, warn the chill,
Guide the steps that go astray.

On the faithful who in You,
Trust with childlike piety,
Deign Your sevenfold gifts to send.
Give them joys that never end.  Amen.

THE ROSARY The Rosary, in any one of the 3 forms that follows, should be prayed daily.

The Traditional Rosary: The Apostles’ Creed is said on the Crucifix; the Our Father is said on each of the large beads; the Hail Mary on each of the small beads; the Glory Be to the Father after the three Hail Mary’s at the beginning of the Rosary, and after each group of small beads.

Each decade of 10 Hail Mary’s commemorates one of the Mysteries of the life of Our Lord. The particular Mystery is mentioned – prior to the recitation of the Our Father. A 5-decade Rosary may be said, commemorating any of the groups. Or the 20-decade Rosary commemorating all the mysteries may be said.
The 4 Mystery Groups of the Rosary

 Joyful Mysteries                           Luminous Mysteries
The Annunciation                        Baptism in the Jordan
 The Visitation                               Wedding at Cana
The Nativity                                  Proclamation of the Kingdom of God
Presentation in the Temple         The Transfiguration

 Temple.

 Sorrowful Mysteries                     Glorious Mysteries
The Agony in the Garden            The Resurrection

The Crowning with Thorns         The Descent of the Holy Spirit
The Carrying of the Cross           The Assumption
The Crucifixion of our Lord        The Coronation of our Blessed Mother as Queen of Heaven and Earth

After each decade pray…

Glory be to The Father…,  O my Jesus…,  Come Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate heart of Mary, Your well beloved Spouse.  Amen.

The Monastic Penitential Rosary of the Order of Atonement.

The Penitential Rosary of St.Padre Pio: The Mysteries of the Rosary are commemorated on each of the large beads. On each of the 50 small beads, say: one Our Father, one Hail Mary, one Glory Be to the Father and the ejaculation: “Hail Mary Most Pure, conceived without original sin.” As in the Traditional Rosary, the Apostles Creed is said on the Crucifix.

Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.  He descended into hell. On the third day He rose again.  He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory Be to the Father

Glory be to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life, our sweetness and our hope! To Thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the Blessed Fruit of Thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

O Clement, O Loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray:

O God, our refuge and our strength, graciously look upon Thy people who cry to Thee; and through the intercession of the glorious and Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Joseph, Her spouse, and of Thy Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and all of the saints, in Thy mercy and kindness hear the prayers which we pour forth for the conversion of sinners and for the freedom and exaltation of Holy Mother the Church. Through Christ Our Lord.  Amen.

The MAGNIFICANT

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
Because He has regarded the humility of His handmaid;

For behold, from henceforth, all generations shall call me blessed.
Because He that is mighty has done great things for me; and holy is His name.
And His mercy is from generation to generation unto those who fear Him.

He has showed might with His arm;

He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones and hath exalted the humble.
He has filled the hungry with good things and the rich He has sent empty away.
He has helped His servant Israel, being mindful of His mercy.
As He spoke to our fathers: to Abraham and to his children forever.

Glory be to the Father,

Let us pray:

Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord God, that we Thy servants, may enjoy perpetual health, of mind and body, and by the glorious intercession of Blessed Mary, ever virgin, may be delivered from present sorrow, and attain into eternal joy through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Mary was conceived in the Mind of God from the very moment of Creation, the Triune Godhead planning her as a creature above the angels and above the saints, endowed with far greater graces that any other created beings, and the proper vehicle, in Her emergence in time, to give humanity to the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.

Because the angels, in the epochs before the Creation of Man, were illuminated in the knowledge of the subsequent creation of man and also in the superiority of this exceptional creature of mankind to supersede that of the angels, a rebellion resulted among the angels when lucifer, the lightbearer, desired to be higher than God, in order to be above the “woman.”  A great battle arose in Heaven among the angels and lucifer, the Highest of the angels, with one-third of all the angels, was vanquished from Heaven. And so there was enmity between lucifer and the “woman” which continues to this present day.

When the time came for Mary to be born into the world in order to prepare herself for her eventual rose and the “Mother of God,” she was allowed to become conceived by a holy, but apparently barren, mother. From the moment of her conception she was endowed with a Plentitude of Grace far surpassing that of any other created being. At her birth she, alone, came into the world without Original Sin, remaining sinless throughout her sojourn in the world, a fit receptacle for the Person of God and a suitable Mother and Companion to Him during the time He chose to live with men. Hanging from the Cross, Jesus chose to live with men.  Hanging from the Cross, Jesus bequeathed His Mother to mankind, giving Her as His gift to each of us.

It is here that this Mother, who so shared in man’s salvation, whose Heart was pierced by the sword of our sins, by Her sufferings and through Her bitter sorrows with Jesus in all of His Redemptive Acts, has gained Her Crown above and beyond that of any soul ever created, and thus deserves to be regarded honorably                      as “Co-Redemptrix” with Jesus.

Mary, possessing every possible virtue, was the humblest of all creatures, never wishing attention for herself, but only desiring to bring her adopted children closer to Her Divine Son, She is likened to the moon which gives its reflected light from the sun in order to illuminate the darkness of the earth, yet is not the “light.” She is magnificently endowed with grace which she is eager to share with Her children if only they request this of Her.

As a true mother, She embellishes Her children with Her graces in order to make them perfect to meet their Heavenly Father just as an earth mother dresses her child to meet its earth father.  It is impossible for an earthling to robe himself to meet his Eternal Father through his own actions. In a loving manner it is accomplished for him through the efforts of his heavenly Mother. So it is, in the Plan of God after the Redemption, that one must first be dressed, or “embellished” with Mary’s graces in order to make a proper entry before the Throne of God, And so, in order for one to go to the Godhead, he must first of all go “through” Mary, not adoring her as God, nor even as a creature of God, but in conforming to God’s Will that Mary is the “Mediatrix” between God and man.

Mary is the portal, or door, through which God, in the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, received His Human Nature and made His entrance into our world. So, too, is Mary the door by which we mortals must enter and pass through in order to return to Her Son, Jesus, and thus to our Eternal Father in His Heavenly abode.  She has been the portal through whom our Guardian Angels go to receive instruction prior to our birth.

MORNING OFFERING AND CONSECRATION,
INCLUDING FATIMA AND GARABANDAL CONDITIONS

Oh, God, Our Father! Through the infinite merits of Your Son, Jesus, in all of His Redemptive Acts – His Agony in the Garden, the revilements He suffered in the Prison, His Scourging at the Pillar, His Crowning of Thorns , the Tearing of His Sacred Flesh and the Spilling of His Precious Blood, through His tortuous Way of the Cross, along which He met His dear Mother, through His Glorious Resurrection and Ascension, and through His Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of His dear Mother, to whom I consecrate myself today, and in union with all the masses celebrated throughout the world, I offer You all my thoughts, works and actions of this day – all my joys and sorrows, pains and pleasures, all that I have and all that I am. I am truly sorry for all my sins.  If I cannot receive Jesus Sacramentally today, I desire to receive Him Spiritually. I offer this in expiation for my own sins and in reparation for the sins of all mankind, particularly those committed in my own home and by my own family.

With the assistance of my dear Mother, Mary, and my Guardian Angel, I offer You the greatest honor, adoration, glory, belief, hope, love and thanksgiving my poor soul is capable of rendering to You, and I beg Your Pardon for those who do not believe, nor adore, nor hope, nor Love You.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I consecrate myself to You today, and I offer You the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He Himself is offended. And by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart, I beg of you the conversion of poor sinners.

I pray for all living members of our human race, for Holy Mother the Church, for the Holy Father and his intentions, for our Cardinals and Bishops, our Priests, our Religious and our Missions, for true Christian Unity, for our Nation, for our leaders, for our sons in warfare, for peace in the world, for all sinners, for my benefactors and for all who want or need my prayers, including even possible enemies, known and unknown. I also pray for all the sufferings souls in Purgatory, especially for those in my own family and of my friends.

PRAYER FOR PRIESTS

God, Our Father! In union with the Holy Spirit and with Jesus Christ, Our Lord and God, and through the powerful intercession of Our lady of Mount Carmel of Garabandal, of St. Joseph, of St. Michael the Archangel, with his legions of Angels, of the Blessed Apostles, Peter and Paul, and all the saints, we beg for the protection of our priests against the malice and snares of the devil. Please guide our priests; let Your love surround them; bless their labors with abundant fruits; enlighten, strengthen and console them; make them holy and resolute. Amen.

WHITE LEGION PRAYER

Eternal Father! Looking upon the Wounds of Your Divine Son, the sorrowful Heart of Our Mother of Carmel of Garabandal, and the faith of Your Church, forgive us our sins; free us from the pains of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who have most need of Your Mercy! Our Mother of Garabandal, according to Your desires, we wish without delay, and as well as we can to put into practice you Message and to propagate it with all our strength. Amen.

EXORCISM AGAINST satan AND THE REBELLIOUS ANGELS

Published by the orders of His Holiness, Pope Leo XIII, and is translated from the Latin. Priests should say this prayer every day to ward off the power of the devil which is greater in these Latter Times than it has ever been before. Also, the faithful should say this prayer every day, when there is no Priest available to do so, in their homes or whenever action of the devil is suspected.

+ In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL, THE ARCHANGEL

Most Glorious Prince of the Celestial Host, Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Come to the rescue of men whom God has created in His image and likeness and whom He has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. It is thou whom Holy Church venerates as Her guardian and Her protector; thou whom the Lord has charged to conduct redeemed souls into Heaven.

Pray, therefore, to the God of Peace  – to subdue satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive, nor do injury to the Church. Present our prayers to the Most High, that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us. Seize the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and satan; bind him and cast him into the bottomless pit that he may no longer seduce the nations.

 EXORCISM

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and God, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, [of Blessed Joseph, Spouse of the same Virgin] of Blessed Michael, the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, of the St. Louis Marie-de Montfort, and all the Saints, [and powerful in the holy authority of our ministry] we confidently undertake – to beg YOU to repulse – the attacks and deceits of the devil.
